The Israeli Art Fair.

Israel Independence Day, Yom Ha'atzmaut, 2009

To whom it may concern,

Dear friends.

Last year, on April 2009, we hosted a group of artists and vendors from Israel, led by Sarit Dayan, for Israel Independence Day.

We contact the group a few months earlier, after hearing about them from other Schlichim.

The group has 20-25 Israeli artists and vendors. They came to the US on their own expense, and shipped all their products FedEx to Tulsa.

They paid all their fairs including hotels.

Our agreement was that we do not pay them anything, and we don’t collect anything from them but state tax.

This group has made a great impact on our event.

We started advertizing their arrival to Tulsa a few months before the Festival.

The group arrived a day before and set up their show case in a Sport complex.

They had all kinds of exhibits- Arts, Judaic, jewelry, paintings, photography and much more.

They were professional and very kind people.

The event was colorful and exiting, It drew thousands of people, who enjoyed it and loved this colorful Israeli market place.

It is my recommendation to every Jewish community in the US, to try and have this group for any holyday of the year.
